Regent Bangkok

Normally stay at the Oriental Hotel but interested in staying closer to the business district this time. Would like any member's review of the Regent Bangkok. Is it on par with the Oriental in terms of quality of service?

I don't think anything is as good as the Oriental but I believe the Regent was just renovated. I know that the Penninsula has stolen a lot of staff from the Oriental.
