Amangiri Utah via ferrata - possible to book if not staying on property?

I don't really care about staying at Amangiri Utah for the night, but am really interested in doing the Via Ferratas offered: https://amangiriadventures.wordpress.com/via-ferratas/

For someone who has been there, or knows, is there any way at all for non-hotel guests to book and pay for this via-ferrata activity? Any waitlists if they have extra space for the day etc?

Well, if you have been a repeat Aman guest elsewhere you can just call concierge and see what they might be able to do. Another poster notes the Jackson Hole via ferrata presumably on the theory that if you love it enough, you can just go 650 miles out of your way from Utah to Wyoming

I have done the Jackson Via Ferrata and it is fun.

Haha. That's quite a hike! There are several outfits in Utah offering it too. I suspect Aman uses one of those as well?

I've done both and the JH via ferrata does not compare in any way to any of the Amangiri via ferratas, which are more challenging (in a fun way).

Ya - my perception was that the JH one isn't really terribly challenging but it is in JH so that makes up for it. I assume the Giri one is more interesting ?

I think so. There are multiple routes at Giri and I found the views at the top to be amazing. But I live in JH so maybe I'm just bored of staring at the Tetons!

I know Telluride has it too, never done it so I don't know how it compares to what Giri have!

My kids and I did this one this past October (sadly, we missed peak fall foliage by about 10 days). It is absolutely exhilarating--and absolutely not for anyone with a fear of heights. You also need to be relatively fit with decent upper body strength (for traversing the via ferrata); the hiking involved is also not a walk in the park.
