I think Danang would be fine. It was scorching hot when I went there last April.

Would there be anywhere in Vietnam with decent weather in mid-late July and a good resort option?

One of the last countries we haven't visited in the region and we wont be too far away.

Yes, most of it - Hoi An/Danang down to Nha Trang region (Amanoi etc).

Trying to decide between Sofitel and JW Marriott - over New Year.

JW Marriott would provide two level suite for 5 nights, vs almost entry level at Sofitel.

I am leaning towards Marriott. Am I making a big mistake?
