i will never understand the public F&B next to pool, whether rooftop or italian coast
thankfully some true luxury properties actually get these (very simple) things right

The terrace at ISP is beautifully private and a relaxing place to drink in the evening. Zass welcomes outside guests but Carlino is guests only. No where ever felt overly busy or crowded. The pool is totally separate from the restaurant and has it's own bar so there are no outside guests. There is a private beach.
At Le Sirenuse the restaurant welcomes outside guests and it is located right by the pool. Even though the pool is guests only, it still felt busy because of the proximity to the restaurant.

Thanks, Kage! And just to avoid confusion for someone not yet familiar with the property, the terrace at ISP is not private, as mentioned above. It is open to non guests and is especially lively before dinner and often during lunch. Its only the early mornings when it feels & seems that way.
