I had a suite at the Westin Moana Surfrider and it had a Toto Washlet. Now, to convince my wife we need one, she's kinda squirmy about bathroom stuff.
I'd settle for a shattaf though.
Westin Moana and Palace are both Kyo-Ya owned properties. I think they're a Japanese company? Makes sense now.

The basic add-on Toto models do not have the plastic wand part that telescopes out when water is flowing.
The real Toto brand, basic ones have a fixed metal tube. This is the model that I bought almost a decade ago in Indonesia, and bought for my US residence. Less moving parts, means it will likely still be working even after I’m gone. The first one I bought was about $40.

Self cleans after each use, sort of. But I'm simply more comfortable manually cleaning it weekly. I think of it similar to the bowl. It self cleans but I still manually clean it weekly.
I have no issue with hotel installation because I take it regular cleaning is sop. In a plane lav? Not sure I'm using that one...

Is the Toto toilet the new luxury amenity?
My first encounter with one such (which was hilarious) was in a signature villa at Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Cabo where I have stayed twice. I currently am, er, flushing with modest delight at my third encounter in a signature Valencia suite at Rancho Valencia near San Diego.
Other sightings?

they are ubiquitous throughout Japan (tokyo and kyoto at least). Narita has them in most public toilets. Many upper-scale hotels throughout SE asia have them. Agape restaurant in Paris has one- as did Agape substance which is now defunct.
Even the hot pot restaurant on south broadway in denver has one.

Pretty much every new luxury or 5-star hotel in China have these. The latest one I saw was at the St Regis Shanghai, with a separate tablet-like touchscreen remote as opposed to a fixed wall panel with physical buttons.

I installed Toto toilets at home in 2006 during a renovation, so old hat. But the heated seat in winter is truly a work of art.
