Does staying in a Club Room (at the Palace), give me inclusive breakfast in the main restaurant or do I need to pay extra?

The hotel's website says "Club guests are welcome to enjoy breakfast at the Club Lounge or in-room" so I imagine you would have to pay extra...

Club residents can have breakfast in the Grand Kitchen. They get a (hilarious) voucher when they show up at the GK.

Also never had to line up at the GK. If you're worried just book a table in advance.

Dint know. I book my club rooms using FHR, which gives that benefit.

This is the construction site at the Palace, for reference. Although silent just now because of holidays, I suspect it could otherwise be noisy. Perhaps because of my high expectations having read this forum and similar of this being a “grande dame”, I have been quite disappointed. Nothing particularly bad, rooms are functional (albeit a little dated) and the views from the balcony are indeed wonderful and peaceful, but it feels (at least to me) lacking in wow factor. The service level has been hit and miss (e.g. concierge could not secure a restaurant reservation that I was able to with a call directly to the restaurant, some defects / noise issues in the room, bar tender wasn’t able to make an off menu cocktail I requested etc). It is also generally too crowded in the public areas to feel exclusive (granted it is a holiday week, but MO, FS, Aman did not have this problem when visiting for bars / restaurants etc). With so many other great properties in Tokyo, this one is not for me.
