Have you ever read the book Beach Babylon? I read it whilst we were staying at the Reethi Rah (seemed appropriate as it's purportedly the resort it's based on) and, it's a couple of years ago, but I'm sure it said something about them never having turned a profit.

can/does apply to anyone/many - including a number of people here. can come down to what kinds of properties one prefers, values, etc.

those who prefer smaller properties may find larger properties overpriced.

those who prefer larger properties may find smaller properties overpriced.

some have/prefer to travel during peak, others prefer to avoid peak. (rates)
