Hermitage Bay is incredible. Great atmosphere, intimate and private, incredible food, great service and overall experience. Probably my favorite "adults" Caribbean hotel.
Has anyone stayed at Hermitage Bay more recently? Would love to hear if this still holds after the past couple of years.

Rosewood Le Guanahani

Anyone stayed at the Le Guanahani since it reopened? Debating between it and the Sereno for wife's 40th in May.

Way late bump since I'm gathering some inspiration for where to go on our next Caribbean trip right now, but thank you for mentioning Ladera. Those views are to die for, I might just have to.

Want rustic luxury? Try Barbuda Belle on the island of Barbuda. Very isolated but arguably the best beach in the Caribbean.

Any recent stays at Malliouhana? Considering it for a stay. I haven't seen anything posted since the ex-Aman GM left in 2018.

Will be in Miami February/ March and like to use it as a base for some carribean. At the moment Im looking into Belmond St. Martin/ Anguilla, FS Anguilla and Rosewood St. Bath. Like to do 2 of them. Any other idea (not fixed on this islands). Had a look into Amanyara, but not sure if its worth the premium..

Cap Juluca — It was our favorite in the Caribbean.

I once combined Miami with Parrot Cay and Amanyara. This is very easy in terms of logistics, short flight from Miami to Providenciales. I would rate Parrot Cay above Amanyara (better food, fantastic beach).
Here is a link to my trip report: Trip report - Turks and Caicos (Parrot Cay, Amanyara) and Miami (St. Regis, Setai)

It is also possible to combine St. Martin (Belmond) with Anguilla or St. Barths, although slightly more complex (3 1/2 hour flight to St. Martin from Miami). In Anguilla, I stayed in Belmond Cap Juluca and Malliouhana, and can recommend both. Also visited FS for dinner - this was a much livelier scene, but beach does not compare to Cap Juluca. I would not recommend the boat transfer between St. Martin and Anguilla, as it may be quite bumpy; plane is roughly the same price as a private boat. St. Barth

Here is a link to my review: Best superluxury resorts in Caribbean/Central America?
