The indoor pool at the MO looks nice and a clever tactic since the winter months here can be distinctly chilly. I like everything about Macmyday's suite except for the pop-up TV at the foot of the bed. Reminds me of those 1980s gimmicks that dragged on at Orient Express properties.

I am planning a trip to Marrakech in late October - what are the temperatures like at that time of year ?
Was planning to stay at one of the highly regarded non-chain riads but MacMyDays review may have changed my mind. The MO looks superb.

It shows the average as 24 for June, yet it was 38-42C during the hottest time of the day when we were there. Mornings were quite cool though, around 18C, but I was still in a t-shirt and shorts.
Plus this website lets you go back a year or two to see what it actually was: http://www.accuweather.com/en/ma/mar...nyr=10/01/2015 - looks very nice!
I've written up the full review now on my personal blog: http://thegoodthebadandtheluxurious....tal-marrakech/ - basically a long summary of what I've said in this thread. Service + food could be better, but the hard product is really something.
