Lightbulb $500 Resort Credit Deal at Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, Florida?

The Ritz on Amelia Island is offering a new deal - $500 resort credit when you stay three nights - and we are considering pulling the trigger for a summer trip.

http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Proper...ay_package.htm

Valid through August 28, 2014
Seasonal rates starting at $329 USD per night

Coastal View Guest Room or Suite Accommodations
One-time $500 hotel credit per three or more night stay

Hotel credit can be applied to resort restaurants, lounges and in-room dining, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, onsite fitness classes, resort shops, Ritz Kids programs, parking, and onsite recreational and watersports activities and rentals signed to guest room folio. Credit cannot be used towards off property, third party activities, room and tax and cannot be reimbursed or exchanged if not used. Credit must be used during stay and has no cash value. Credit requires a minimum stay of 3 consecutive weekday nights and will be applied upon check out. If length of stay is changed to less than 3 nights, no credit will be applied. Room Rate is per room/per night exclusive of taxes, gratuities, fees and other charges; does not apply to groups; cannot be combined with any other offer and is not applicable for Rewards redemption. Offer valid on select weekdays in July and August; offer not valid on Friday and Saturday nights. Advanced reservations are required; subject to availability. Void where prohibited.

Is this deal going at any other Ritz hotels? Anyone have input on Ritz Amelia Island?

TIA.

It's a great hotel, kind of far away from say JAX, but once you get there it's a very nice place. It's family-friendly and the gym is good. They also have a spa and a good sit-down restaurant and a sports bar/restaurant on-site. The views of the ocean are spectacular.

Great Place/Good Deal

I love the Ritz in Amelia and the Island itself. It sits on the ocean and there are great activities throughout the year. Good for families in the summer. It looks like the $500 credit is to gear you to book the early part of the week but only in July-August. Good deal if you are a planner!
