The SEN Cafe has reopened, only the morning shift (6am-1.30pm) for now.

Open? Strange the LH lounge finder doesn't show this as available?

It was open last week when I passed through. Had the same food options more or less than the SEN lounge. I think the nicest part about the Cafe is the hand crafted coffee drinks rather than the machine.

What is "the current situation"?

I tried to visit earlier this week but found only this sign. The website had no indication of closure. Is the "situation" the ground staff strike from last week? How long will the situation last?

Weird. I didn't realise the catering staff were on strike? Uniquely the person who checks access eligibility is a LH employee with full access, vs the other lounges who have the low-paid outsourced staff using a dumb terminal. Maybe thats why?

Is there anything in the speculation I read on some forums that Ramadan plays a part in the strike in some way?

Come to think of it, I remember that "Josh Cahill" was told by Condor the reason why the cabins were so dirty because the cleaning staff call in sick during this time.

Mmmm, the FCLs are open and well-stocked. Sounds like a bit of an excuse to me TBH
