Perect award booking !
- Which route/airline did you book and which class?
GVA-MUC-DXB-MUC-GVA in C.
- How many pax and how many award miles?
3 pax incl. SEN companion award = 60'000 miles * 2 = 120'000 miles + 30'000 = 150'00 miles in total plus CHF 1365 in taxes.
- How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
7 months.
- Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Yes for Christmas 2009
- Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Yes (all done online).
- How often did you have to check/call until you got the seats?
Seats were selected online (mini C-Class cabin on the 340)

Yes!

By phone - taxes were miscalculated, but right (less^) amount charged to my credit card.
- How often did you have to check/call until you got the seats?
Checked regularily for about a week - flights opened up - called - that's it!

- How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
23 days

Yes!

By phone - taxes were miscalculated, but right (less^) amount charged to my credit card.

Checked regularily for about a week - flights opened up - called - that's it!

WOW! managed to get great award with Miles & More
just managed to get two I class (biz) tickets to Buenos Aeres from Moscow on Dec 29th and back from San Paolo on the Jan 13th - WOW ;-) looks like sometime it is possible to get great award... Taxes came to 15-000 rubls (about 400 USD) each, but still this is awesome ;-) just wanted to share )

Well done! I know just how you feel: exactly 2 years ago I got the same award for 2 people, Business Class, CDG-FRA-EZE 24/12, back GRU-MUC-CDG 15/1. It felt (and waw) great. Enjoy South America!

just managed to get two I class (biz) tickets to Buenos Aeres from Moscow on Dec 29th and back from San Paolo on the Jan 13th - WOW ;-) looks like sometime it is possible to get great award... Taxes came to 15-000 rubls (about 400 USD) each, but still this is awesome ;-) just wanted to share )
