LH must have refitted a few more 744 to new C this winter. I see the ORD-FRA 744 afternoon flight operating with new C. I guess the supplier problems have been sorted out....

I will be flying on a CRJ900 from MUC-FCO in C.
I read that the seat next to you will remain empty.
On top of this I know that row 1 has more space.
Now the main question is does row 1 have movable armrests or are they blocked because its the first row (cannot lie down)?

Thanks a lot

Row 1 in all CRJs has fixed armrests. Even if you would be able to raise the armrest, the CRJ seats are far to small to really lie down

Row 1 has more knee space, but less leg space; this means that you can't stretch your legs fully.

Best Y seat in A343 in non-exit rows?

(Sorry if this has already been discussed - I searched but couldn't find the info.)

I'm going to fly on A343 (NRT-MUC) in mid-July, and waitlisted for upgrade from Y to C. In case the upgrade doesn't clear, which Y seat would be the best besides bulkhead?

For now, I'm assigned 27D with 27E empty (I somehow prefer seats in the "last" rows, because I can then recline my seat without bothering the person behind me, even if the angle is limited), but http://www.seatexpert.com/_LH_Airbus_A340_300_V1.html shows it in red (while http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Luf...bus_A343_2.php doesn't). Does anybody know why? At this moment, 27H is also empty, but 27K is occupied.

Thanks!

The exit row offer the only decent seats on this plane in Y, but since you aren't asking for those...
