Cancelling/changing UA award travel

Cancelling/changing UA award travel
I have two c class tickets on UA JFK-LAX but can't go on those specific dates. What are my options?
- Cancel and redeposit the miles
- Change the dates
- Change the dates and destination (say from LAX to SFO)
Any advice is helpful.
