guys, just 2 questions:
- What is TATL?

OT
- How do you check which plane will be used? I have a flight beginning of May FRA-EZE in LH F on a 747-8 - How big is the chance the plane is going to be changed suddenly? I know I will get a 75% discount on the fare if I get downgraded to C, but I'm not interested into that - need the status miles...

thanks

TATL means Transatlantic. Flights going over the Atlantic ocean, either to North, Central or South America.
You can check planes at Lufthansa website if Expertflyer is not subscribed and do not know how to use Matrix. The chance that Lufthansa will change the plane is 0.

Indeed, as Jaenks mentioned, it's not likely that LH would swap this ultra-long flight to an A359 as they need those frames on other routes, A333's could not make a direct flight from FRA to EZE and A343's are not economically profitable on ultra-long-haul flights.
