How can I confirm whether LH is flying 748s TATL this year?

I'd like to know if LH will be running any 748s on TATL runs this fall. I couldn't find a conventional flight timetable which confirms routes and equipment. Is this something I can confirm?
Thanks,
G

It's on the same website that confirms the future development of the Covid-19 pandemic, the easing of border restrictions and the return of travel demand.

Does equipment really matter? I would be more concerned if the route is operated at all.

it obviously does if you want to book F.

To the OP ... close-in I'd say a 748 scheduled is a pretty safe bet. If you are looking for say November ... complete crapshoot.
You can also check and if you see a 748 with zeroed out F cabin then LH is not anticipating they will fly a 748

Last minute changes are always possible and as someone may have noticed, last minute swaps from 748 to 333 or 343 happen a lot these days so there is no guarantee.

Indeed, that is why the Q is more or less moot.

MEX is the only current TATL route with 748 and First.

Any scheduling more than 30 days out is largely notional. Not even worth looking at this until August for September travel.

Progress of the disease, opening of air corridor, recovery of demand. All inter-dependent variables which nobody can predict.

I just booked 2 seats in F (award) to LAX on Jun01 - seems to be the first day for this destination with a 748. Fingers crossed.

Good luck!. LH had previously scheduled April as the return of 748/F and then pulled the plug on that and continued the 359 until June 1.

The last 2 remaining 748 US routes (before being pulled in Oct) were LAX and ORD.

Yes that's true, the OP asked about transatlantic ( didn't mention the USA ) and LH498/499 FRA-MEX is currently operated by a 747-8i and the safest destination ( IMO ) that someone could book if they would like to travel in First.

I'd say MEX is the definitely the most reliable F destination in NA at the moment. Air France also operates a 6x week 77W to CDG. Amazing F product and you still get ground limo service with PA. And their CDG FCL is open with full meals and wine list (apparently immune to Covid)... unlike some other airlines.

I wonder if the MEX flights are doing well since keep operated by B748 and almost daily?

Europeans flocking to Mexico as it remains open - or sneaking in to the US with a cheap dom flight to Tijuana and crossing the border to San Diego?
