I have from 2 different countries and 5000 status miles have been credited today, no idea from which origin though

Credit card bonus for new frequent flyer
So my wife just qualified as Frequent Flyer and moreover she already has 50k status miles. Do you know if she would be eligible for credit card status miles when she would apply now?

Yes, if she gets a CC this year and is FTL she gets the 5k welcome bonus and SM for spend.

Status miles for CC purchases are starting to post. I got retro credit for the purchases I made earlier this year.

Yes the status miles are described as Credit Card Turnover Retrocredit.
The status miles for credit card transactions in January and for transactions in February have been just posted.

Quick question
If I get this right I can get max 30,000 status miles from this promo.
If I then convert 25,000 bonus miles into an additional 5,000 status miles (possible with certain credit cards) I would have 35,000 status miles and hence requalify for FTL without having been o board of any single flight....

Is there anything I am missing?

They have blocked the option to convert award to SM for those who are blue/FTL for now. The point is that you should fly to earn atleast 5000 SM the traditional way. So no, racking up 35k SM from home using CC spend only is not possible.

I've got it too, but probably nowhere near the rest of you. Will probably have to find a cheap business special with the likes of Luxair to get all the way there.

You guys must be serious spenders! I certainly won't get anywhere the limit. Unless I can work out how to pay my taxes and Krankenkasse with a CC here in Schweiz.
However, I have several M&M cards and they all seem to be giving the bonus, which is good.
