New lunch service 1 Sept from MLA to FRA.
Didnt realise today was the first day otherwise would have tried to take a better photo of the catering.
The good news is that it feels like a nice step up from the previous inedible junk. A real positive enhancement.
Cant tell you exactly what it was as the QR code to scan for the menu went to Page not found on LH.com lol

Is that an egg in some hot soup thing? An attempt at Ramen? Doesn't look great for a flight of that length. Lufty is certainly becoming the UNITED of Europe.

Portion size should definitely be increased but knowing LH, I just never expected that to happen anyway.
I dont eat dessert and assumed that was it. The stuff around the white goop looked like a gelatinous fruit thing on closer inspection lol.

IMHO it is a kind of improvement when comparing to 5 mozarella balls with 3 slices of tomato. And looks better. However it is good for flights <1.5-2h. All longer flights should get MAD/ATH/LIS-like options (bigger in size, 3-course, incl.hot meal).
I wonder if AGP, SVQ or HER (>3h and no competitors) will get the same choice as MLA on the above photo.
