Historical Data - Reason for Delay
Hi all,
What would be the best way to get the actual reason why a LH flight was delayed? I'm writing about a flight from Fall 2016. If I were to write to LH, would they respond accurately?

I doubt that you would even get a response, for a flight 3 years ago. If you get a response it will probably be generic along the lines of “we no longer have that info”. That’s likely not only for LH, but for pretty much all airlines.
That said, it is <5 min work so still worth the try.
It might be the case that one of the claim agencies do have a long history, but there is a good chance that they won’t provide it unless you agree to give them their potential cut.
