Flight #29 was credited in 2018, #30 only on 07.01.2019. On 08.01.2019 my Miles&More App showed requalification until 2/2021 ^

My 30th flight was just credited today, but the app shows qualification until 2/2020 for me. I was expecting it to be extended to 2/2022. But I seem to recall in recent years that they don't show the real date you have qualified for until the following year. Or maybe it just takes time for the system to register it. Or maybe the system is so screwed up it won't happen.

But did the system really recognize that I requalified, given that the final qualifying flight from the 29th only just hit my account, a good number of days into January? I'm still missing flights from 23rd and 28th December, unsurprisingly.

I can only speak for my situation where the text on the account statement site changed from (something along the line of) "you have credited 96543 status miles to your account in 2018. You need 3457 miles to extend your Senator status." to "you need 590000 HON Circle Miles to reach HON Status" while the status expiration date has not changed and still shows 02/20.

“To achieve the Senator status, you will need to earn 100000 additional status miles between 01.01.2019 and 31.12.2019.”
Despite many failures of LH IT this part of the system is quite reliable IME.

That's what it does say indeed. That means, indirectly, I cannot requalify for FTL this year presumably, because I have already qualified for two blocks of 2 years. I'm guessing, but if that's the case then everything's fine.

Correct. Flying 30 segments or earning 35000 status miles in 2019 will not extend your FTL status beyond February 2022.

Good to know that some things in Miles & More are still dependable. But I still have a number of uncredited flights from 2018. On a different note, the 1,500 miles for the DAZN subscription turned up today, total outlay EUR9.99.

Despite qualifying for FTL in 2017 and 2018, my card in the app still shows validity of status till Feb 2020 (what I got from 2017 qualification) rather than 2022 (or even 2021, which is what new qualifiers from 2018 will get).
I seem to recall someone (AliCorporate?) saying that this is normal when you get FTL two times on the bounce, and that the status period won't update till sometime next year. Would be nice if anyone else had info on this.

I will call them at some point, because when I did so once in the past they were able to see the whole thing in their system. It would be reassuring to know, certainly.

Are you still missing these miles? You should be able to retro-claim after 7 days. Some partner airlines’ miles don’t seem to credit automatically. I recently flew two segments on SA and had to submit mileage claims. The miles were credited within hours of the claims, almost certainly without any human intervention.
