GDN Mini-Do

All booked at Stary Maneż (table for minimum 6 people, from 4PM) ^

As previously mentioned, myself (possibly my work colleague from Sarajevo as well, Mrs already in Gdańsk), @Fabo.sk and @yurtripper are all booked on LO3837 from Warsaw, we will therefore head to Garnizon straight after landing. @Lack & @tropikey plus indeed anyone who wishes to join us for a few drinks and a good laugh - see you there na miejscu

Do you have the Dashlane black limo ready to pick us up from GDN also?

I got my first LOT flights last this weekend. It was nice enough, one leg was operated by Blue Air on an antique 735, crew not from LOT it seems. The other legs were nicer, more enthusiast crew. Two questions
- what is exactly the lounge within a lounge (non Schengen area) ? I was travelling Y and am *G and could enter it.
- last minute equipment change seems common ?

There’s no lounge within the lounge in the non-Schengen area as we speak, Bolero is merely a contract lounge.

Concerning equipment changes: it does happen, yes, especially in the summer months (though I have yet to experience a last minute as such).

I am sorry, I speak about the Schengen area.

For changes, two flights (out of 4j were operated with a different equipment that the one listed at OLCI.

Sorry, I got confused by non Schengen in your initial post

The lounge within the lounge (alias Elite) in the Polonez is on the right hand side as you walk past the first food ‘counter’, it has a dedicated entrance.

Thanks. What are the entrance criterion ? I got in but not sure why I should have. Also I am not sure to understand the difference with the Polonez lounge. There was hot food but otherwise it seems the same F&B.

The official policy (as per website, which however contradicts the *G signs e.g. carpet at the very entrance) is HON/SEN/LOT Business Class (meant as long-haul) only, but *G are allowed in without issues. Food-wise, the choice used to be somewhat different in the recent past but no longer as it seems (apart from the odd occasions e.g. Christmas when some ad-hoc catering is present). Also, the lounge tends to get incredibly busy to the point that I often prefer to stay outside in the ‘standard’ section (when a seat is indeed available...).

Thanks. I was confused as I could not understand the difference with Polonez. Nice lounge honestly, better than LH and BA.
