So I flew MUC-DEL in Z and this posted for the first segment,( the second segment is still in limbo, probably due to the evoucher upgrade):
This ticket was 2100€ (out in Z back in P), and I can't figure out why I got 7146 award miles for one of the shortest segments. I'm not complaining, but really confused

Another bizarre one: my colleague flew DEL-MUC via FRA in J (no cheaper seats available) and upgraded to F using evouchers. This is what credited for the FRA-MUC leg

I did a cash upgrade on one leg of my 4 leg trip a few weeks ago. Ticket was booked via LX.
Upgraded from Economy T to Business P. Initial price was CHF 923.70 and the paid upgrade on the CUN-VIE leg was CHF 619.00 and this is what I got:
I don't understand how i get 11,446 miles. If I divide it by 4, that's close to 2861 EUR, which is far from what I paid in total for that trip ZRH-FRA-CUN-VIE-ZRH... I have zero status with M&M.

How are award miles calculated in case of a non M&M earning airline is part of the itinerary and the ticket is issued on 220 stock and award miles are based on the fare paid?
Example:
FAI-SEA on AS
SEA-FRA-MUC on LH
Do you only get credit for the part of the fare + YQ for SEA-MUC, thereby "losing" the award miles for the part of the fare FAI-SEA or do they take the entire portion of the fare FAI-MUC and multiply it with 4/6?

Mileage Calculation - Always the bad option for the customer?
Dear Community
since Lufthansa changed their mileage accrual algorhythm a few years ago I somehow cant ignore the assumption that they always chose the lower mileage option for the customer. I get booked through various booking channels by my companies, and most of the time, when I have tickets in J, C, D, Y, M, the mileage calculation is performed by the "old system", however low fare booking classes "E, K, T, L, V, P, Z) seem to be calculated by the "new system".
In the beginning they claimed this would be "IT associated problems", but since the "new system" has been introduced some years ago I don't believe in coincidence any more...
Did anyone notice something similar?

Award miles are supposed to be revenue based if bought directly from LH or if it's on 220 ticket stock. All other cases should fall back on distance based.
I have experienced deviations in both directions, distance crediting when I expected revenue and vice versa.
Sometimes it's to my benefit 🙊 and sometimes I lose out and request a recalculation, though it's not always granted.
LH IT is known to be... well... awful.

On a related issue: I noticed that there were (slightly) less status miles for certain longhaul legs in 2021/22 when compared to the years before. For example, for ZRH-SIN always gave 19212 status miles (+exec. bonus) in F (=6404 distance miles), whereas in Nov 2021 I was only credited 19209 miles (=6403 distance miles). Same for ZRH-SFO: 5841 miles, since 2021 only 5826 ... Not a big deal, but again to the disadvantage of the customer!
