As they are currently even retrofitting their old 340's with 8 new F seats, I don't see anything changing there in the near future.

Me neither, but knowing LH Group management, you never know if suddendly on the new LX A359 or B789 aircraft there will only be only four seats of F... Maybe Oliver had some insight.

A reduced # of F seats seem to be an industry trend, unfortunately.

Yes but even on premium heavy Swiss?

Why not? You would have thought it would happen on premium heavy SQ?

yeah, 1Q19 - no F FRA-BOS. It has cost LH some business from me ... after they downgraded me in January. Don't see why this is not a 748 year round.

MUC-BOS has been J-only for almost 2 years now, really great to see the 346 coming back

More than on LX tbh...
For me 8F on LX is just untouchable.

Which probably translates into over culling F & the airline that gets it right will win

With J getting ever so closer to F in hard product, it’s becoming harder and harder to find value in the crazy price differential. Alas, we as customers begged LH for a better J product. We are getting it. And unfortunately F is the casualty.

Look at BA, where the new J is arguably at least as good as the current F.

Yes it’s happening less and less, they’re doing their job right with yield management. I did have only one other pax to MIA a few weeks ago, and to ORD last year. HKG, LAX and SIN are always full in advance for me.

Does LH operate any F cabin to the Arabian gulf region anymore?

I can't see any destination there with F cabin! All aircrafts used to this region is A333, which don't have F cabin anymore!
