Just flew out of it yesterday, connected from FCO into T2, out to ORD in T2S.
Everything was pretty smooth, but I think there are still some bugs to be worked out. For example, my flight to ORD was out of gate L25 - one sign to gate L25 pointed me to a dead end (a closed and alarmed door into the secure US departures area). The US departures checkpoint was explicitly missing L25 from the signage (it was something like L24, L26-L30, don't remember the exact numbers, but L25 was not included), but the people working there confirmed it was the right place to be.

That "mistake"was already noted during the test drives a few times..I guess the new signs are not yet ready to be put up and the TV screens have not yet been reprogrammed either..

JFK - MUC - NAP in F
I am still a bit confused. My flight from JFK will arrive in L and my flight to NAP will most likely depart from G. Could I clear immigration in Sat F Lounge? If thats the case, i could hang out there for a bit and then proceed to take the train to G? Is there a separate exit from the lounge for those who have already cleared customs/immigration?

A pretty disappointing experience at the new Satellite.
Was connecting Schengen->US in F. The concept of immigration
inside the F lounge is a joke, I understand it's related to silly EU rules etc,
but it's a broken maze (L gates require passport control, K don't).
In order to exit the lounge to buy a bottle of water, you must pickup your
passport -> go downstairs -> spent 20 minutes watching a clerk
scanning your passport, boarding pass and everything else just
to buy a 3E bottle of Evian. Come back to F lounge, leave the passport again...
They couldn't print the new boarding pass in F lounge (!).
They never completed the full passport scan, so we got picked at the gates.
100 people are scanning your passport, but nobody finished the checkin.
The lounge itself is very poor. Very limited food and drink choices.
A pretty rude crew. Nothing like the FRA F terminal.
Security leading to the US gates - random, we were let go without any.
Will avoid MUC in the future, for sure.

Had a bizarre situation. Yesterday my flight was scheduled to leave from K11. This morning it changed to G42, then T-1h it became G46. So I walked 500m to G46 looking at a dozen empty gates in G. Then it turns out G46 was a bus gate. We were then bussed to D-AIRL standing at a K gate but the jetbridge was not operational.

Stopped by the new non-Schengen L Senator lounge in on a recent trip. Took some pics. Overall, pretty empty around the time that I was there, and it seems like a high quality lounge. I like that they have a bar, like the one Senator lounge in Frankfurt, and the nap pods have more privacy than the ones I've seen in Frankfurt.
No limes! :O
