I didn’t bother taking last Months Wine list, I didn’t find it inspiring.
A whole Month to change two wines, nice work if you can get it

i’m fine with LPGS but a quality change would have been nice.

Pleased about the LPGS. I take it from the comments above that nobody would recommend the white wines?

Seems I’m the only one here who wasn’t to thrilled about the LPGS. Just not my type of champagne.

On the upside, there was no shortage

Didn’t try the whites but the reds were not that impressing either. Was very disappointed by the Spanish red in July, just flat and boring. Only one which I really liked was the Stag’s leap Cabernet which was excellent.

You are not alone. LPGS is also not my favorite champagne and I have to say that I do like the monthly change (as long as the quality is decent), so I find the new list somewhat disappointing,

At least there was enough of it.

When they have LPGS then I will absolutely avoid the whites (if they had the Gratien, then it might be different...), among the reds the Napa Cabernet is ok but still not one I’d expect in F on a 5* airline.

I actually like the LPGS very much. Will compare the LH version with the LX version next week

Agreed. They should up their game with both reds and whites.

I usually do a tasting of 3 or 4 reds and there is usually something enjoyable, sometimes even two. Different story with the whites, the only decent white choice is often the champagne, if it is not Gra..n month.

Interesting: flying PEK-MUC on LH723 and had some great chats with the LH crew, somehow we got to champagne talk and they pulled out a sneaky singular bottle of Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Brut Rose. I didn't mind the LPGS but some variation during the flight didnt hurt Good to know for the rest of you perhaps

That's pretty amazing that they had that considering that it was part of the rotation for a brief moment several months ago. I got on the topic of Champagne with the crew as well recently from MUC but unfortunately it didn't yield such bounty.

Thanks for the tip 👍

Will try it tonight when the Purser asks me if there is anything they can do to make my flight more comfortable
