LPGS confirmed on LH405 last night. I'm flying tonight and looking forward to it.

I suspect that means August will be something crappy if I am following the pattern correctly.

Neither am I

As long as we don’t go Alfred Gratien cheap again it’s ok.

We can't complain, they've upgraded their $8.50 Sauvignon Blanc to a $12.50 one.

Unfortunately, some of the whites have always been the weak spot of the LH F wine list. Usually go for champagne and reds now.

LH F Wine list is not the high point of LH F period

Did’nt they recently want some insane number of miles to join the White Wine selecting on M&L selections ?

Its shameful to be serving such cheap Whites in F

So out of this list, for someone like me who is a Philistine when it comes to wines but does enjoy a good pairing, what wines would you recommend?

Which wines would you say are good regardless of the price

With the Champagne, depending on the month, it's hit or miss. A few days ago from JFK they had the LPGS which was very nice. I am also a fan of the Rieslings and Eiswein on board.

I think the Roderer champagne is a really good one. And the "cristal" for a very special occasion.
To be honest I too am looking for a good reliable online source for buying wines.
I have a good one for whiskey already.

I am looking forward to the LPGS (I'm flying on the 21st and I like Laurent Perrier Champagnes). So mostly was curious about any recommendations in this month's wine list

I usually go for the Rieslings since I'm usually more of a fan of white wines but it's interesting to read the take on the wine list from people here since I really have very little knowledge of wines.

It says on the web page it’s the August Wine list but from memory it’s the same menu as last Month & new Wines are supposed to be available every Month, did they change the title page & forget to upload the August Menu ?

I thought the same (also same Gin-of-the-Month) but when i compared this list to the previous months' there seem to be a few changes - i.e. in the 2nd and 3rd red wines
