Do Istanbul with stopover somewhere in EU in biz, can be done for 1100 USD and gives you 8K/point at a time (+ executive bonus). Would make you senator in less than 10KEUR (but requires you like istanbul.

When LH had their recent C promo you could have made SEN for under 1/2 of that amount.Then again that double status miles offer might be worth looking into.

If one has enough time to do MRs within the US, SEN should be achievable for under €3k.

Some very good promotional rates like FRA-SIN return for 1,300 Euros.
LX has some deals, though they vary between countries. I'm pretty sure that a few days ago I saw a RT to Japan for around 2,300 Euros in C from somewhere in Europe via ZRH.
