Becoming SEN , the cheap way ?

Hello

I was wondering how to become Senator Gold in 2011, the cheapest way possible.

- hotels ,dining, etc. not included
- only cost of flying

http://www.vielfliegertreff.de/milea...en-status.html

they have a thread dedicated to this question, in german though

Any advice welcome

and thanks upfront !

Well odds are, that if vielfliegertreff has such a thread, you might be able to also find these infos on FT. So I suggest you familiarize yourself with the search function and start reading ...

Little hint: "mileage run" is the key word.

There's even a thread on how to lose SEN status.

Why SEN? Is it specific for the LH benefits, or for the Star Gold benefits. There are 'cheaper' star golds out there. (Actually, there are few as expensive as LH if any).

But the OP is asking about the cheapest way to become SEN, not just any *G.
Please stay on topic!

What is Senator Gold? Sounds like a cross between Senator, and Star Gold - Like the OP isn't entirely sure.

Just trying to help, so what is the problem?

I don't mean Star gold !

In the M&M website from Brussels Airlines (SN) , is Senator = Senator Gold .

So don't be mistaken I do mean , how to become SEN the cheap fasttrack ?

Thx already for the info

Get a status match to BMI *G and then just wait for the conversion to SEN.
No additional flying required !

You can always wait until they offer a status match if you have similar status with a non-*A carrier.

Or go for BD Gold and hope that their FFP, Diamond Club, disintegrates completely. If all else fails you could... ahem.... "move" to a country where they've already shifted people over to M&M and see if that works.

Best bet though is to wait for one of those good long-haul offers in C where you can pick up tickets at a fraction of the price. That should rack them miles up quickly...
