Becoming SEN , the cheap way ?
Hello
I was wondering how to become Senator Gold in 2011, the cheapest way possible.
- hotels ,dining, etc. not included
- only cost of flying
http://www.vielfliegertreff.de/milea...en-status.html
they have a thread dedicated to this question, in german though
Any advice welcome
and thanks upfront !

Well odds are, that if vielfliegertreff has such a thread, you might be able to also find these infos on FT. So I suggest you familiarize yourself with the search function and start reading ...
Little hint: "mileage run" is the key word.

Is that an offer?
Actually this has been discussed before.

There's even a thread on how to lose SEN status.

You can always wait until they offer a status match if you have similar status with a non-*A carrier.
Or go for BD Gold and hope that their FFP, Diamond Club, disintegrates completely. If all else fails you could... ahem.... "move" to a country where they've already shifted people over to M&M and see if that works.
Best bet though is to wait for one of those good long-haul offers in C where you can pick up tickets at a fraction of the price. That should rack them miles up quickly...
