One A343 (out of 26) and two A346s (out of 24). Plus some of the ten 747s (out of 30) to be retrofitted by the end of the year.

So basically I should plan on being in old first.

For those who know a little German: We started a master thread listing all LH flights featuring new F cabins here: http://www.vielfliegertreff.de/lufth...terthread.html

And here's a comparison listing the respective features of all three new LH F products:
http://www.vielfliegertreff.de/blogs...vergleich.html

You might want to expand your browser window to see the entire chart.

Thanks, that's very helpful. If LH keeps that exact LAX/DEN/DXB cycle for the first 744, I would actually get the new F seat FRA-DXB in June!

It says the FRA-DXB-FRA run is expected/predicted to use an upgraded 744 on every 3rd day starting April 27. Some exact outbound dates (May 3, 6, 9) are listed. The same plane would fly back as LH631 the next morning (May 4, 7, 10).

I assume your dates are supposed to be May 5 and May 10? In that case you will most likely NOT get the upgraded 744 on your outbound, but you'd likely hit the jackpot on the return.

Just to step back for a moment. The chances to get the new F are still pretty low, if not on the A380.

I would plan with OLD F and sit back and relax and it will be a positive surprise to see NEW F, when entering the plane. It could be very disappointing, when it happens vice versa.

Seems to be that way. I'm looking forward for the first reports about any changes in the 744 UD aside the reduction of 1 FA.

For early May I just upgraded my wife and me to F on FRA-MIA assuming this will be a non refurbished bird and we can still sit in 2 seats together. We are booked in 82C and 82H however and don't want to chat via the aisle.

I'm booking F from FRA-IAD... it says it's a 744, but I'm travelling next April... likelihood that this will be a refurbished bird by that time?

If you mean in a year, then you have a 10/30 chance of getting it

The plan isn't to refurbish the whole fleet of them? I was hoping in a year's time that they'd all be done

Crap, can't find any good F-class routes from FRA-YYZ that I can book as a *A award... they don't seem to be released the MIA-FRA F-seats anymore for some reason...
