Transfer Sol Meliá points to M&M miles

UPDATE:
So I just logged onto the Melia account and it still shows 7000 points, so I tried to use the online form and it worked! I immediately got the message "Successful" as well as a huge green check mark next to it! The points were also taken right away from the account. So I guess the guy I was talking to fixed the form but didn't process my request?! Oh well, good to know that at least now they are in the process of being transferred. I will update you guys on what happens!

I did get mine back eventually, Melia sent them again during the last week of September, posted a few days later. The 4000 bonus points they give to encourage points & cash booking did not transfer again, but they are in my Melia account.

SIGNIFICANT devaluation of Melia points. :-( Per Melia's website, 6 (SIX!) Melia points now equals 1 (ONE) Miles & More miles...
I have no idea when this was implemented (well after 31 October for sure) but it pains me so much, because I just bought some points that are in the process of being transferred.
Sad sad, sad news.
I will let you guys know if the miles post with the new or old conversion rate.

An update:
Points purchased on 01 November, transferred using online form on 12 Nov, Miles posted today (very, very fast) on the 14 Nov. With the OLD conversion rate (2:1)!!!
So I don't know if (or when) the new 6:1 rate will apply. Either way, I won't risk it and I am not going to buy Melia points.
