LOT VOYAGER will be terminated as of Nov. 1, 2000

As of November 1, 2000, LOT VOYAGER will be terminated, as it will be merged into Qualiflyer. VOYAGER miles will be transferred (on a 1-to-1 basis) to Qualiflyer.

Low revenue perhaps? Or was simply not a viable option considering competition?

The sad faces of Bishop and Tranman are totally unnecessary.

LOT is a full member of Qualiflyer and Qualiflyer is one of the best rewarding programmes in Europe. The only present risk is that the leading Qualiflyer airlines SN and SR are dead or dying. Earlier TK and JAL left Qualiflyer. As long as AA is in Qualiflyer is worth it!

LOT should be handled in the Qualiflyer forum. The Flyertalk administrator however is totally inert.

By the end of October 2000, Turkish Airlines left Qualiflyer and started its own programme: Miles & Miles. In October 2000 it has been mentioned in the Qualiflyer forum that FlyerTalk has no forum for TK Miles & Miles. Surprisingly over a year later there still is not such a forum.

Recently I have sent an e-mail to the FlyerTalk administrator requesting to open a Miles & Miles forum. To date my request is unanswered. I presume the message that LOT Voyager has stopped also bypasses the FlyerTalk administrator.

Most likely the administrator thinks the Turks still fly on carpets and do not need a forum, and the freedom loving Poles always have a forum of their own, even if they stop their FF programme.
