Hay anyone flown into LAX in the past few weeks? Wondering what the Rideshare experience is these days. Any advice/insight to offer? Are Uber/Lyft even running these days at LAX?

Uber/Lyft are readily available (no long waits).
No change other than no traffic in the airport loop, mostly everybody wears a mask. It is eerie.
Uber was to start requiring masks but at this point it seems it is voluntary to do so.
Insight to offer? As a matter of courtesy to the driver, if the driver is wearing a mask, you should wear one too (regardless if he asks or not). Those drivers see 20-30 people a day and they are stressed about the virus, I am sure they will appreciate you wear a mask (regardless if it helps or not, that's another discussion).

As this query is not specific to American Airlines, we'll move this over to the Los Angeles forum for further discussion. Thanks. /JY1024, AAdvantage forum co-moderator

I flew in about 2 weeks ago.
LA County requires masks if you're out in public. Wear one, if only to be polite.
The Green Buses are running again, but if you're landing at 1 or 2 it's faster to walk, and 6/7/8 it probably depends on time of day. Also be aware that they've closed off some corridors for whatever reason (maybe reduce exit door staffing). If you land at 6 you can't get to ground transport by taking the escalator down in the hallway between the shops - the doors at the bottom that lead to the curb are closed and marked authorized personnel only.
Not sure about Uber, but Lyft is back to matching drivers and riders instead of the PIN system because volume is so low.
Take pictures because you'll never see LAX that empty again.

And actually I just looked up the actual guidance, which is somewhere between what we both said: "Everyone is asked to wear a face covering when they are interacting with others who are not members of their household in public and private spaces."
