I signed up for a LAN account and was looking for award availability on this route and it looks like they don't have J tickets even for Aug 2014. Can you freaking believe that.
Are they just not releasing anything? Even to their members. Also, I notice that they have switched the aircraft from 787 to 767 which sucks.

There aren't any. Don't waste your time looking. If you are lucky enough to find the one or two which are available within a year, sit down before you read how many LANPASS kms. they want for the award. The good old days of awards available any day as long as you booked in advance, and only costing 100,000 kms. RT are long gone. LAN doesn't care at all what LANPASS members think of the program, because they are basically the only game in town.

There is tons of availability in economy rewards. Indeed, with the current promotion right now almost every day in March April May is 48k kms availability!
It is the redeemers of biz awards they seem to not care about?
(Of course, you can redeem an economy award and take chances on a Comodoro or coupon upgrade).

Yesterday and today any searches for biz redemption on any route has been failing... what are the odds they are finally doing something?
Edit: Late afternoon, Ok now working, maybe fixed. I am seeing LAX-LIM 100k km rtn Biz rewards showing up, for example 26 and 29 Jan to Feb 1-2-3 and more... Cannot click through to see if it works all the way through 'cause I don't have enough kms. Maybe someone else can check?
or maybe they are preparing for a km promotion in biz?

Not surprised....there has been constant problems booking Lan awards over the last year through other Oneworld programmes. Lan routes are either not being recognised or award seats are not being seen by agents. AEP-USH availability for instance is never available to BAEC members due to Lan not giving BA any seats on the route.
Something needs to be done.

I am using BA's search engine.
