I did not venture into the city but you could make it with that amount of time.

There is also the usual Sabarro, McDonalds, Starbucks in the airport food court itself.

The Sumaq lounge does not have great food offerings in my opinion.

I would go as far to say that the Sumaq doesn't even have good food offerings!

I would go even further to say that some of the Sumaq food offerings are gross, especially one of those little sandwich fillings. The good news is that if one went to Sumaq in 2008 and returned today, one would not be surprised as to the food offerings, because they are pretty much identical. Lounge of the Year! Why change?

I don't think there are any lounges I can access as Priority Pass on the domestic side (where I could nap) and I don't feel like paying $300 to sleep five hours at the Ramada. There don't seem to be any hotels that offer free shuttles either.

Call them +5117112000 and let us know what they tell you.

Other than the Ramada, there are no decent hotels in the vicinity of the airport (within 10kms/ 6 miles). So even if there was one near the airport that offered free shuttle, you probably don't want to stay there.

The closest decent hotels to the airport that I can think of are the Sheraton (downtown area) and the Melia in Av. Salaverry, both ~ 7 miles away from the airport and they can "arrange" transportation but not for free, AFIK

Hello,

I'm going to transit in Lima.
MEX-LIM 22:15 - 23:50 LIM-LPB (La Paz)
I'm oneworld Sapphire (AA Plat).
When or how can I pick the day pass to Sumaq Lounge ? I mean, is there a Lan counter inside the transit area / baording area ?

Thanks for helping,

Hi. You can just go to the Sumaq and ask at the desk, they normally will call LAN for you for the permission number. Say hi to the barkeep for me muk muk

There is a LAN counter before you go back upstairs right near Transit security.

They should be at the desk after security, but there might not be too many agents and a long line. There's no special line/agent for elite flyers or premium cabins either. I've never had a problem showing the ladies at SUMAQ or the VIP my LANPass card and BP and getting right in.
