I think you would enjoy the Cathay Pacific first class lounge in HKG more than a beer on Calle Berlin. But I have no problem paying for the first round of beers for a FT LIM get together if someone else organizes it.

That's 3 of us then, I don't think it requires much organising

Personally, I'd like to meet everyone, so Saturday the 17th would be best for me so I can fly up Fri PM or SAT AM - no more vacation time available.

I would prefer the Friday but if doing Saturday means zpaul can fly up then Saturday 17th it is.
I am flying to SCL on Sunday 18th, perhaps we could make it a roadshow

Well, I could arrive late on Friday...LA2630 would be the first flight I could take, arriving LIM at 22:00. Typical of LAN to have no flights between 14:00 and 20:00...need more SCL runways/gates/planes/passengers!

I am not sure, I think officially calling it a "DO" and going public with it might falsely raise people's expectations of such a gathering. In LIM I am kinda restricted to drinking in places that I haven't previously had a fight in.
JW Marriot does a nice mojito but I cannot go back since there since I fell off my bar stool and knocked a bunch of IB air hostesses over.

The list of places I "can't go back to" is (I'm sad to say) --- well, not short. Never actually fell though.
EDITED to add: This is one of the reasons I don't drink anymore!

(BTW, don't miss the make-your-own, freshly-squeezed orange juice...good stuff!)
