The one thing that had me considering Lanpass over AA (I'm still banking everything at AS) has just gone - New Rule - AA won't let you in the AC for domestic US trips no matter your other-airline OW status.

regarding comodoro vs. premium silver - in case you are not travelling solely within the americas you can get into very nice first class lounges. LHR, HKG and SYD come to my mind ...

Just in case, it was a mistake and lounge access for OW Emerald/Sapphire hasn't changed. (Eastbay1K later mentioned this here)

And how is it reasonable to make these changes 1 month into the year? It is like they have had time to analyze the data, looked at the elite numbers and made adjustments to qualifying levels?

Well, Dad flew less last year so he's not renewing PSilver because of the Per� rules (he did get 40.000+ km and 4 J segments, so he would've requalified under the most-countries rules but the Per� rules at the time were 6 J segments.) I ended up using mostly his kms to travel, so I didn't requalify for Premium.
Funny thing is that some km from late last year didn't post and I requested them a couple of weeks ago. When they posted, they now show up under 2013 (but with 0 segments)... he seems to have rolled over some kms without intending to. I also had to fill out the form for mom's flights: they posted but haven't rolled over to 2013 (they don't show up in the Summary of activities valid for qualifying for superior member categories for 2012 or 2013)

For countries other than Per� I've only noticed the some pages haven't changed and but most mention that TAM segments / kms are now qualifying.

The site is so inconsistent... Some country-sites use a different URL, they have headings that change color midpage, missing headings (two ways of qualifying get stuck under one heading, like on this page), mentions that the page was updated in 2010 or 2011 when there have been recent updates... I could go on, but it's exhausting. Good night everyone! I'll keep track to check if the rest of the pages are updated.

I take it back. On closer inspection it does appear that the shortcuts are still there but they are hidden inside the paragraph about qualifying on segments alone so who knows. Bottom line, LAN has done a shockingly sloppy job (even by their usual low standards) of updating the LanPass web pages to reflect changes.

Not only sloppy but a bit late and unethical - changing things a month into the year! They should be obliged to give a notice well before the year start.

Oh, that... yes (that's what I meant by "two ways of qualifying stuck under one heading" :S) I don't know why I keep expecting more consistency, I need to lower my expectations.

Just in case, the country-sites still showing the 2012 rules for Premium Silver and Comodoro are Argentina, Uruguay (these 2 have the heading problem), France and Spain. Hopefully updates will be done soon.

Well, actually, the LANPASS year starts on March 31st, so it's more like a month and a half ahead...

But for qualifying flights they use the calendar year.
