It's available for free from the UA/Aeroplan/Lifemiles/ANA airline award searches. Also from free web based tools such as:

https://awardnexus.com/
http://beta.awardtravelr.com/
http://flisea.com/

^ Try searching on the BAEC site, but not all airports are supported (NVT for example).

http://awardnexus.com works with Oneworld and still has a free version.

Been searching for GRU>FLN for 2/2015 with no luck. It is my understanding that TAM does not release a lot of domestic inventory to partners.

Not that far out anyway. It gets better within 3 months before the date. They do release award seats to their own members though.

I have to agree that TAM is very hard to access OW awards and then if you can access the system, they are virtually non existent.

I have tried BA, QF and Award Nexus and can find nil award seats for flights MVD-GIG and GRU to Manuas, Lima and Iguasso and SCL ( ie intra South American flying) in a window between 9 and 11 months ahead.

Boy is getting award seats from Qantas points hard in SA- LAN is better though.

Don't search 9 to 11 months ahead, just up to 3 months ahead. That's how it works

Thank you for that - they are there in that timeframe but boy oh boy not many.

Still some are better than nothing.

Funny thing is, there is absolutely no correspondence between what's available for TAM Fidelidade members and BAEC. Actually, for short term (up to 2 months) availability for BAEC is much better than Fidelidade.
