Is it possible to get a flight to las vegas without using my total rewards credits? I have a platinum but do not have enough to use it for the travel and would not want to use them anyway. However I do need to book a flight to las vegas March 5 or 6th, and return on March 13-14th.

Airfare comps are done two ways. First, there is the occasional junket offer. You would get a letter or phone call giving you an offer for a specific date. Second, airfare can be reimbursed at the end of your trip. You would need to be a lot bigger player to get that (Seven Stars level).
