Uncleaned room at Caesars
So I turn up at Caesars at midnight (2am in my head as I just arrived from ORD), check in to my Augustus Tower Deluxe Suite, and find that there's used soap in the bathroom, half a bottle of vodka on one bedside table, used massage oils on the other bedside table, chewed gum on top of the minibar thing, and just general crap left behind by the previous occupants. But, the bed was made (although obviously I don't know if they changed the sheets).
I called the manager at the front desk, who offered to move me to another room, but said I'd have to go down to the front desk to get the keys. Being very tired, I told her no thanks, but just don't let this happen again. She gave me a $50 food and beverage credit, and I ran a bath and went to sleep.
How do you like my play?

Pfft... they'd better have a suite ready for you and food comps after that crap.
It's bad enough that the maid didn't do her job, but last time we stayed there they had another maid come in later and just make sure they did their job. Sqeaky wheel gets the grease my friend.

Given the fact that all that stuff was left behind, how could you even attempt to go to sleep in that bed? I know you were tired but come on, an extra 15 minutes would make all the difference. I believe getting your room comped and at least a meal or two was the least you should have accepted from them!

The correct answer is "we'll have a bellman sent to your room immediately to deliver your new keys and help you move." The manager gets a D- since she tried to do something, however lacking it was.
