No pool at The Mirage
Hey all,
So I just got back from 5 awesome days in LV while at the Mirage. Everything was great except the pool was closed for annual maintenance. It was warm enough for a few days to swim. Do I have a shot to call up and get some type of conversation or is it a lost cause?
Thanks

Ok Ok....Now I Know I can't post at 1 AM after getting no sleep for a week in Vegas. Thanks to all your jokers, but as I am sure you all know I was aiming for COMPENSATION....not conversation.
Happy Holidays....
And for quietlion....a lump of coal.

This time of year, most of the hotel pools in LV are closed (unless they're indoors), so unless you're thinking of doing the polar bear swim ritual, what type of conversation, oops, compensation, do you think is necessary?

Well, the day we got there the weather was 65 degrees...if the pool is heated then its great swimming weather. But they never told me when I was booking that the pool will be closed. Any type of compensation through a conversation would be fine with me.....I'm sure Im not the only one out there thinking this way.

From the Mirage web site:
"The Mirage pool area is open year-round, and hours of operation vary according to season. The pool area is closed for approximately one month each year, typically in December, for scheduled maintenance. The pools are heated year-round. For current hours and status on pool closures, please call 702-791-7111 ext. 7487. Pool access is restricted to registered guests."
Since this is posted on the web site, they won't owe you anything. But, if you ask nicely (and your a regular guest?), maybe they'll offer something.
