Well, the day we got there the weather was 65 degrees...if the pool is heated then its great swimming weather. But they never told me when I was booking that the pool will be closed. Any type of compensation through a conversation would be fine with me.....I'm sure Im not the only one out there thinking this way.</font>
Generally when you checked in (or asked a Front Desk agent), they should have told you that there was some sort of alternate pool for you to use. All of the MGM Mirage properties rotate when their pool is closed for maintenance and send you elsewhere via their transportation (usually buses). Generally, the Mirage sends their folks to either TI or the Bellagio, with Bellagio, TI and the Golden Nugget (before they were sold) over to the Mirage. Did you ask the Front Desk about the alternatives? If not, I would doubt if you will get anywhere with your attempt at compensation. They don't make a huge deal out of it because of the time of year it happens, and only a few people even care about going swimming..
