LAS still has the longest security lines at peak times. The airport web site says allow aprx 2 hours. I would also check with the airline.

Sundays 600 am to 900am worst possible time for entire week to be leaving LAS.
Tons of flights going to the EC plus a few Jumbos to Asia.
Allow at least 2 hours unless you have an elite card and/or are not checking luggage ( same time spent at security less time at check-in counter)

Depends which airline you're flying. If you're flying on AA, DL, NW, or UA, you will depart from the D-Gates, which have an elite line. If you're leaving from the C-Gates (WN), there is no elite line. I'm not sure what the setup is at the A/B-Gates checkpoint (HP/US/CO and pretty much all other domestic flights).

We were in Vegas in June flying on AA. The security line said for F class only, and did not mention elite. Just F.Y.I. Thank goodness we had upgraded. That saved us at least a 45 min wait at security.
The ticket counter line was a mad house. Again, we were in F and not checking bags, so it wasn't that bad. I would say to allow 1 1/2 hours at the very least.

Definetly okay for elites at D concourse- I flew last week. The counter agent noted I was AA Platinum and flying coach and simply stamped by boarding pass with a red "First Class" ink stamp and told me about the FC/Elite line.

In further confirmation of chfenton's post:
Yesterday, I sent an e-mail to the airport office asking whether the Concourse D line was for "true" first class ticketed passengers only, or whether elite passengers were also allowed.
To be sure my meaning of "elite" was clear, I specifically included in my message the exact wording "American Airlines AAdvantage Platinum" and "United Airlines Mileage Plus Premier Executive" (figuring that the middle tiers would be the most representative).
I received a very nice reply confirming e-mail today stating that the line IS "meant for the premier customers of the two airlines that you describe". The message further explained that the wording of the sign above the line threshold was debated and carefully considered, and that the wording "First Class" was chosen as a catch-all compromise.
Notwithstanding this welcome confirmation, if an AA or UA agent offers to stamp my BP, I will certainly accept it - you can *never* have too much insurance

Just wanted to circle back and let everyone know that security at 6AM was near non-existent and the ticket counter wait was 10 minutes. They do indeed have a "1st class" security line which is totally seperate and allows Elite members.

I left LAS yesterday morning from the D concourse. First Class line was for first class pax only, according to the TSA matron. She relegated me to the regular queue when I showed her the elite designation on my boarding pass.
She and other TSA employees were rather rude, like those at BOS. I find the ones at SFO and ORD to be quite friendly, at least those at the AA terminal.

As far as I know it's not the TSA who checks your boarding pass at LAS (and perhaps everywhere), it's a contractor working for the airlines. The TSA wear white uniforms with optional burgundy vests.

You might want to e-mail the airport and tell them to train their people properly if the line is supposed to be for all elites.
