MGM Signature through Jet Luxury on VRBO.com
I booked the 2 bedroom, 3 bath suite (1500 sqft) through Jet Luxury for 8 nights in July. $2100 all in, including daily cleaning, resort fees, and taxes.
It can't hurt to try VRBO.com and negotiate with the condo owner for daily cleaning etc.
BTW, Vonn's and another grocery will deliver food from an online order free of charge (in case you're planning to use the kitchenette.)

do you mind if I ask what dates, Im getting quoted like $1600 for 4nights in June for the same thing, and thats without cleaning.
does anyone know of any other places other than VRBO that allows me to see ads for rentals? Im trying to book the same suite, but most have been sold out for the dates I checked, but I only know of VRBO, and no other site for connecting with owners.
thankyou.

Thanks to all
Thanks to all for the help. I kept my direct booking with MGM. They were able to put me in Tower 3 (closest to mid Strip) and give me a balcony junior suite on floor 36 (two floors from the highest). Loved the Sig and would stay again.

Just returned from 4 nights at the MGM Signature
Got a great deal on Travelocity a couple months back for April 8-12: 3 nights @ $99+ tax with the 4th night free. Also $22.60 per each of the 4 nights resort fees, so all in, cost me $106 per night with taxes and fees included. All I really got for the Resort fee was Wifi and a newspaper each day, and access to a nice looking fitness room in tower 3. This was a large room (around 600 sq. ft) with a king bed, and a good quality queen sofa-bed, and a balcony, and full kitchinette.
Got a room in Tower 2 on the 27th floor.
My take on the place is that the physical plant is at the level of Bellagio, Wynn, or Palazzo, but that the mindset of the management is to take shortcuts and penny pinch, so that the overall experience is much more a 4* place, than the 5* that the physical plant is worthy of. A lot of picyune little stuff was not done right: They claim the resort fees include a newspaper and bottled water, but these were never delivered to the room, you had to pick them up at the front desk. The bathroom needs more hooks to hang used towels and wet bathing suits. They used a cheap grade of single-ply toilet paper. At the pool, even when it was mostly empty, all of the good locations were reserved for very expensive pricey upgrades - not just cabanas, but any lounges that were in the shade.
The walk to the MGM casino was a haul, and ironically, due to free valet parking, getting anywhere OTHER than the MGM is easier than getting to the MGM.
On the plus side, furnishings, and the kitchen was top notch and well maintained, and the lack of an mini-bar - thus giving us full access to a useable fridge, was refreshing. Also, it's a non-smoking property, a nice change of pace for Vegas.
Overall, the rooms and common areas are beautiful, but the place could learn a lot from Steve Wynn about the little details of running a place like a 5*, rather than a 4*. Still, a great value for a non-opaque booking, if you don't want to be in a smokey, casino resort, with spacious well-appointed rooms.

another Signature reseller, and deli suggestions
I once found these folks through Travelzoo although I have never rented from them so I can't speak to the experience. I think there is a semi-cleaning daily but I suggest calling to see what that covers.

Also, for delis a la Sherman's I second Bagelmania. It is smaller and less extensive, although prices are somewhat lower than you will find at most delis. Go there mid-morning on a weekday and you will feel like you are in Fort Lauderdale.
Weiss's in Henderson is also very good if you don't mind the shlep.
Years ago there was a great deli called the Celebrity in the Target shopping center at Maryland and Flamingo but it unfortunately closed.
I've rented timeshares through Ebay and have documented my experiences here. (scroll to bottom)
Enjoy - we do Vegas the same way.
