Does KE offer international buy-up?
Does KE have buy-up offers to first class on international flights, either during check-in, or at the gate?
I went out of my way to route my flight through SFO for Dec/ Jan just to fly the 747-800. I'm booked in Prestige both ways. I've never been on the nose section of any 747.

Not at all. You simply have to cancel your current reservation and pay the first class fare. HOWEVER, if the route doesn't have F, they say that sometimes you can select a free "First class seat" beforehand / at check in. But there is nothing like pay to upgrade on say Delta or other airlines for X price they offer you.
