Best way to maximize points with Amex

I'm currently trying to get the most value for my Amex points. I am trying to fly prestige class on Korean Air to ICN to O HARE. What would be the best bang for my points? I've looked at Korean Air partner (Delta Air) but the points value would be 600,000. Is there a better option? Can I transfer points from my Amex MR to Korean Skypass Miles? I see that a round trip flight would be close to 130,000 miles on Skypass

SkyPass is not a transferable partner with any CC after they dropped Chase a few years ago. What you could do is to transfer from AX to Marriott at a 1:1 ratio and then from Marriott to KAL at a 3:1 ratio. KAL also dropped the Marriott transfer bonus, so you'd be looking at 390 000 AX points for your award.

Since a couple months ago I can transfer my Amex MR points to Skypass. Maybe only from Korean Amex accounts? Not sure.
The rate isnt bad at all, especially if you purchase a ticket before the April increase.

You messaged me about F and J class - but you didn't say it was award space. Award space is ALL GONE, like it generally disappears INSTANTLY because everyone is using their miles. Don't get your hopes up and you also need to be VERY FLEXIBLE.

This is quite wrong to call them all gone. Ive been getting openings very regularly in both Business and First. Most of the time 1-4 weeks in, occasionally months in. Just need to get on that waiting list.
Worst case you can book an Economy seat and have a decent chance of upgrading at ICN check-in desk.

True that flexibility is good to have.
