KE Award: Does canceling award hold immediately put it back into award inventory?

I have an F award on hold using the "Pay Later" option for late April / early May travel that is expiring soon. I really want to go on this trip but am waiting to see how the COVID-19 situation plays out as having an infant makes this a big concern. The CDC just increased the travel advisory to Level 2 for South Korea. If I cancel my award that is on hold, will it go back into inventory so I can immediately re-hold it again?

I would expect with their system being a bit "old school," that it might take some time to reappear in the system. Even when you search for a new award, that system is not live, it's a few hours behind.
