Me too! But it's thankfully a competitive environment out there for accumulating miles and points. For instance, the Citi Thank You Visa accumulates 3X points for each $ spent on dining (as opposed to Chase Sapphire 2x), and you can transfer 1:1 to actually a better array of airlines, including Singapore, Thai, Etihad, Eva, Asia Miles, etc. And Amex Business Gold accumulates 3X points for each $ spent buying tix from airlines, as opposed to 2x for Sapphire, and has a broad array of partners (including Singapore). In a related vein, Starwood has over 30 airlines partners and a better transfer rate of 1:25 to 1 for most of them (including Singapore, Etihad and BA) at 20K increments.
In sum, Chase and Ultimate Rewards are not in such a strong position, given their relative paucity of airline partners. And for that matter, Korean is freezing itself out of opportunities to build loyalty as many folks may fly in and use their ccs for many competitor airlines.

I guess I will have to get Starwood in near future.

I cannot believe it. Chase has really screwed me over this year. I got the SKYPASS credit card to accrue enough miles in conjunction with the miles I have in my Chase Ink card so I could get 2 reward tickets and now they are off the list. I can't believe it. There go those travel plans as KE is the only one I can fly non-stop to my destination.

I pinged Chase last night and received this response this morning:

I submitted about four email complaints with Chase before they were willing to provide a very modest compensation of 3k UR points for the Korean Skypass transfer disappearance and my subsequent inconvenience of having to book with Singapore.

I received some related quasi-assurance from Chase in response to a couple of private messages at its site a little while ago:
I can understand your frustration regarding the option to
transfer points to the Korean Air SKYPASS program. As a
security measure, a business decision was made to suspend
this benefit so that we can review processes and make
appropriate changes. Regretfully, at this time, no date
has been determined as to the return of this
functionality. We do realize this feature is part of the
rewards earning structure. Although we reserve the right
to make changes to the program at anytime, we ask that you
trust we are working to resolve this issue as quickly as
possible. I apologize for any inconvenience this may
cause.

1.) Transfers are only allowed to self, spouse or domestic partner.
2.) The Chase UR website says that transfers are usually processed "instantly". I just made a transfer (to my own SkyPass account) and it did indeed go through instantly.
