KE A380 strikes engine pod at NRT

Look what happened today when this KE A380 touched down at NRT on a local flight from ICN:

I am surprised this aircraft was considered fit to operate the return sector to ICN.

Pretty unfortunate. I hope there are no delays since I'm on the KE A380 out of JFK in September...

That said, pod strikes on a 744 aren't all that uncommon.

That's not all that uncommon with all types of jet's with heavy crosswind. By the time they'll fly the big whale long-haul, the pilots will get the hang of it.
