If booked in advance, the KTX 1st class tickets are almost ridiculously cheap. Can only recommend to use a Korean agency or similar if language or other problems exist.

On the Yongsan - Gwangju KTX right now. No power outlets in our 1st car as far as I can see but wirelss works pretty well with a slight lag when moving.

Seats are quite good and recline comfortably but even here the pitch could be more, the first row however has infinite legroom. Free water bottles and cookie type snacks, other food and drinks can be bought.
