But will I be allowed at the boarding gate of ICN using the online check-in BP?
Or do I need to go to transfer desk to collect the printed BP?
I don't have any check-in luggage, only hand carry.
Can I pass through T2 & T1 vice-versa? Just in case if I arrive at T2 and T1 is my connecting flight or vice-versa.
Hope someone can answer these questions.
Thanks.
I have the same question for my mother in law. China to ICN. Then ICN to US. Separate bookings. Did you ever find out?

It is VERY IMPORTANT to know which airlines..... but yes, you can collect a boarding pass at the transfer desk if you can't get one online. Many airlines don't actually give out online boarding passes even though they say they can (bc of extra document checks). And move between terminals with your new pass/printed itinerary. You stay inside the airport "airside" so there is no immigration in transferring like this.
